History
1897 Foundation of the printing house Quack + Fischer as a subsidiary of the Kaiser-Tengelmann-Group in Viersen.
1980 Foundation of the packaging production company WS in Wassenberg.
1999 Merger of both companies to WS Quack + Fischer, concentration of production in Viersen.
2002 Expansion of product capacity to 420 million folding boxes per year.
2003 Integration of an ecologically valuable heat recovery plant, being powered by woodchips from shredded old pallets and covering 70 % of the heating needs of the company.
2005 Modernisation of the pre-press stage through a CTP-plant (computer to plate).
2018 Current production output at 675,000,000 folding boxes and continuous investment into state-of-art technology.
2020 Start of the new construction of a cutting-edge production facility in Viersen Mackenstein.
2021 Relocation of company from Lichtenberg 6 to the new building in Mackenstein (modernisation of machinery in the areas of CTP, printing, punching, gluing and packaging)
